Your marriage license, completed and submitted
After the ceremony we complete the license and submit it to the clerk’s office. Every package includes it, so your marriage is official and on record and there is nothing left for you to file.
Wherever you want to stand
A courthouse, a city hall, a venue, a private residence, or wherever else you choose. We come to you, and we can travel outside Massachusetts for a fee.

The exact length depends on the two of you and the ceremony you choose. It is short by design but never rushed.

Do you provide the wedding vows?
Yes! Smooches can provide a simple, beautiful ceremony script with repeat-after-me vows and a ring exchange. If you’ve written your own vows, I’m happy to incorporate those too.
How long is the ceremony?
Most Smooches ceremonies are approximately 10–20 minutes, depending on the couple and the ceremony style.
Do you handle the marriage license?
Yes! Filling out and submitting the marriage license is included with every Smooches package. One less thing for you to worry about.
Do you officiate same sex weddings?
Absolutely. Love is love, and Smooches is here to celebrate it.
Do you perform ceremonies outside of Massachusetts?
Yes! Smooches is happy to travel. Travel fees may apply depending on the location.
Can you officiate at a courthouse or city hall?
Yes! Smooches can meet you at a courthouse, city hall, venue, private residence, or another location of your choice.
How far in advance should we book?
As soon as you know your date! Smooches does accept last minute bookings when availability allows, so it never hurts to ask.
Can you perform a ceremony without vows?
Yes! If you want to keep things incredibly simple, Smooches offers a “Sign & Go” option for couples who just want to make it official.

Absolutely. You don’t have to be a professional public speaker to get married. I’ll guide you through the ceremony step-by-step, including when to speak, repeat, exchange rings, and say “I do.” Your only job is to show up and get smoooched.
